Renowned metal band Arch Enemy has officially announced their much-anticipated return to Asia, set to tour through April and May 2024. While fans eagerly await the confirmation of venues, the complete schedule of this explosive tour has been revealed.
In a recent statement, Arch Enemy expressed their enthusiasm, stating, "This has been a long time coming and we can't wait to bring the metal madness!" This tour marks a significant return to a region where their fan base is particularly strong.
In a significant shift within the band, Arch Enemy recently disclosed the amicable departure of long-time member Jeff Loomis. Reflecting on the change, founder and chief songwriter Michael Amott remarked, “It’s been a joy having Jeff play with Arch Enemy for close to a decade. We were friends before our musical collaboration and remain even closer now. While we respect his decision to leave the band, we’re excited for the future.”
The band is thrilled to introduce Joey Concepcion as their new guitarist. Amott praised Joey's phenomenal talent and long-standing relationship with the band, noting his previous fill-in role during European festivals in 2018. "We're eager to embark on this new chapter with Joey, bringing fresh energy and creativity to our upcoming tours and projects," Amott added.
Jeff Loomis shared his thoughts on departing the band: "After 9 remarkable years, it's time for me to start a new chapter. I leave with lifelong friendships and unforgettable memories. A heartfelt thanks to my bandmates, our crew, and the fans for their unwavering support."
Joey Concepcion expressed his excitement about joining Arch Enemy: “It’s an honor to be part of this legendary band. I'm looking forward to meeting the fans and delivering electrifying performances across the globe.”
