Grand Ole Opry House Reviews:

  • So much fun! If you love country music and want to see and hear some behind- the- scenes stories it's a great place to go. The 20 minute intro video is slick and sets the scene for the rest of the tour. The dressing rooms are beautiful and I loved thinking about all the greats that have spent time there. A highlight for me was Studio A because I have so many fond memories of watching Hee-Haw with my folks. Crazy to think about it being filmed right there. Walking out on stage was fun but they monetized the picture of you in the circle, which kind of blows. Can't remember how much they charged for that pic in the gift shop. Obviously didn't buy it. But all in all a fun place for a couple of hours. After all it's Nashville. Wouldn't seem right not to go see the heart of it all, the Grand Ole Opry!
  • We did the backstage tour and loved it. I'm not even big country guy but I still found the tour very informative and engaging. Getting to go backstage at such a historic venue was very cool. If you can't see a show here, I highly recommend checking out the tour.
  • Amazing place. Went for charity foundation concert. Atmosphere great and seats comfy. We were up in the balcony but view was good. All artists excellent and sound quality fab. Stayed locally enough to be able to walk. If you get the opportunity to go, take it and enjoy. Source

The Basement Reviews:

  • I love this place the most because it gives upcoming musicians the opportunity to fine-tune their craft. Seasoned artists perform here as well, keep an eye on their calendar. You may or may not hear a country tune. Cheap cover charge, cheaper drinks. I recommend ordering a beer directly from the bar. Be sure to tip the hard working staff well and buy merch from the artist.
  • Cool basement for underground jam sessions. There are many free events don't confuse this location with the one on East bank called The basement East they are both on the same site and can be confusing but definitely worth the trip to check out these venues live music.
  • There are so many incredible artists and different shows to choose from at the Basement! It's always been an awesome experience! It's definitely a place you'll frequently want to go to! Source

3rd & Lindsley Reviews:

  • We love going here. Its everything you need. Get there and eat some good food before the show starts. They have local beer along with the basics. Then saving the best for last, amazing bands with awesome music to dance the night away to. Our fave....Vinyl Radio.
  • Really enjoy the shows and the size of fhe venue. The only complaint for my most recent visit is that we had to wait so long for our food order and when the waiter didn't come for awhile had to go to bar myself to get our drinks. If you have a chance to see Rubik's Groove make sure you do! They never fail to provide a great show!
  • We love seeing a show at 3rd & Lindsley! If you get here when the doors open, you can grab a table and get a very reasonably priced dinner before the show. The service continues throughout the show and is usually very attentive. This particular show was the Eaglemaniacs, an Eagles cover band, and they were great! They play every couple of months, so if you get a chance, stop and see them, they always sell out. Source

Address: 116 5th Ave N, Nashville, TN 37219, United States (Directions)
Capacity: 2,362

Ryman Auditorium Reviews:

  • If you love live music, you have to see a band here. Sound quality is close to perfect. Some seats have a pole in front of you. But that ends up being a non issue since you will probably be standing up anyways. Staff is courteous and helpful. Look for a band you like or even marginally like and see them here. You won't be disappointed.
  • Beautiful historical Nashville landmark. Venue allows for excellent views of performers from many seats. Our favorite is balcony middle, at least 4 rows above edge of balcony, so please don't buy our seats 😅😂🤣 Seating is on wooden pews without cushions. Inflatable cushions are prohibited. (There's no prohibition against coats. A fiber filled coat folds into a nice cushion.)
  • WONDERFUL place to see a show and the history there is unbelievable. Our 2-year old son attended his first physical concert here (1st concert was when my wife was 2 months pregnant with him at the same location to see the same band!) and the staff was so sweet and kind to him. We will make a trip here every time we're in the Nashville area. Highly recommended!!! Source

Schermerhorn Symphony Center Reviews:

  • Beautiful! The venue felt a little bit like a Jane Austin era building with 1920s amazing lamps and velvety chairs. They were narrow on my well endowed hips, but many people left at intermission so there was plenty of room. We were on the back row of the highest balcony and it felt closer to the stage than the closest balcony at the Atlanta symphony. Each level had its own parlor for intermission with wine, water and soda available. I did not order any wine because it was 12 dollars for a glass. But my friend did and said the red was very good.
  • This was the perfect venue. It was beautiful and the sound was perfect! I could only dream of performing there. There were nice people at every turn to guide us to our seats. The Getty concert was absolutely wonderful. We plan to return next year. Also, the parking was really close and protected. Great experience!
  • I just went and saw Star Wars: Return of the Jedi with the Nashville Symphony playing the soundtrack. It was great! Even though the orchestra was right in front of me, I would forget they were there. The music was perfectly in sync with the movie. It was a really cool experience! And a note on the Schermerhorn: it is an absolutely beautiful building! Source

  • Despite it's deceiving exterior, Growlers food is pretty dang amazing. I ordered the meatloaf sandwich with cheese grits as a side, as well as having a bite of many of my compatriots' meals. All were delicious. It is without hesitation that I recommend the food at Growlers. I extend a special thank you to Laura, Josh and Dan for making sure things went smooth for my band.
  • The food and service was outstanding! I would give it more stars if I could. I highly suggest you go try the lunch. The fried green tomatoes were delish, ate them before I could get a picture.
  • Ask for the Rawk n' Grub menu & order anything on it. Can't go wrong anywhere there, I promise!! Plus, there are like 10 vintage pinball machines that you will need to bring a pocket full of quarters for! Good time. Source

  • The arena itself was very well run. Expediting security checks, assisting people to find their seats.clean bathrooms. Modern design. Definitely one of the nicer arenas I've been too. The show Keith Urban hosted All for the Hall, was awesome, with many country artists. Keith served as host, kept the show moving along nicely, all artists performing did great job.
  • Excellent venue to see a concert or a hockey game. We have seen all kinds of different types of concerts and enjoyed every one. The place has great acoustics and most seats are fine for sound.
  • Had a great time enjoying the Predators hockey team best the St. Louis Blues 2-1. Had won some tickets from FM 102.5 and was seated in prime seats close to the home goal several rows from the floor. Souvenir waving towels. Great game. Super fans. Packed arena. Was quite a special treat. Thanks 102.5 ESPN radio Nashville. Source

  • Wicked AWESOME venue!!! This is a sweet venue with amazing acoustics and SUPER clean! Not a Tennessee local, but I've got nothing but good things to say about the venue and staff. Nice job Tennessee.
  • We really enjoyed this establishment. It reminds of our very own Swinger's but on another level. The food was delicious and awesome. We had even enjoyed some drive time after dinner. Be sure to read the fine lines of the hourly rates! We went on a Saturday evening and our rate was $50/hour including $5 membership fee for new guests. But the hour was just enough for us! A must try for those who can or cannot play, it's simply fun.
  • Great place to see concerts! Small venue, security is fast to get you in, lines for drinks are short because there are plenty of bartenders. Source

  • 2018 showing of National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation was a fantastic experience! Inexpensive tickets and expensive alcoholic beverages were the perfect combination for sharing one of my favorite classic movies with a few close friends and my sister. 😪 Of JOY 😂 Theater has a classic, elegant look with a familiar ambience. Staff members will add a personal touch by sharing a short story about a holiday memory. Good times. 💫

I've seen so many wonderful shows there then I'll list would boggle the mind. From David Byrne to Ben folds to Andrew Bird to Chris Robinson to the Carolina Chocolate Drops to Dr. Dog etc. And so on... I must place to visit. Source
