Birchmere Reviews:

  • Excellent energy. Great sized room. Table seating makes for some odd configurations but I've sat in all the different sections and heard everything and had decent sight lines to the stage from all of them.
  • Always good music here - and a lot of variety in the music. The food is ok, but nothing special. And the service is usually good, though once the music starts it can be a challenge getting the server's attention as they turn the lights down. Overall a great venue for folks and many other kinds of music.
  • Good music. Variety of food decent. Only problem is you have to get there really early (before 5 pm) to get a number to indicate when you are admitted to the theater which opens at 6 pm. Show does not start until.7:30 so it is a very long wait. If you want decent seat you need to get there early and eat there. When you wait in the lobby there is seating for most (not all) but lighting is bad and there is no wifi so it is hard to read while you wait. There has got to be a better way. (Source)

  • The atmosphere, the staff, the sound system....All of it is an experience you don't want to miss. Heart and soul has been put into this amazing place. The food is also amazing from what we saw being serviced. Next time we plan to enjoy the food too. First class all the way.
  • Elevation is exactly what Virginia Beach needed. The courtyard sometimes has music as well allowing it to be a dual stage environment which is just beautiful. The sound is impeccable was fantastic and helpful staff. Tickets are affordable and they bring some amazing acts. We love this venue so much we moved 5 minutes from it so it could be considered our neighborhood bar
  • I went to a concert here. I love their set up. I don't like being in the crowd because I'm short and it is hard for me to see. At Elevation 27, I was able to sit down and enjoy this amazing piece of carrot cake and enjoy the concert. I had a wonderful time! (Source)

Jiffy Lube Live Reviews:

  • Love the venue. The people that work there are so nice and helpful. But... The only downside... Getting out of the parking lot after a show... Yeah, it stinks so just be prepared or read about/investigate your options before you go. Splurge for up front seats. It's worth it. Unless you simply like hearing the music in the background while you sit in the lawn. It you like watching the action then go ahead and buy the best seats you can afford and be happy about it. You will have a great view.
  • Ok, do you like good food, concerts and alcohol? You wont regret this place. Check their schedule for bands playing. Pricing is good and you can either sit at the lawn or get close to the speakers, they also have VIP areas.
  • Live Nation handles venues. It is a smaller venue but this makes it kinda nice cause you can see the performers and have a great time. Parking is horrible so vip park of possible unless you want to sit in a parking lot for an hour or two when leaving. Very popular artist do play here so hit up a show in the summer. (Source)

No issue getting in, finding a spot or getting a dream. Plus parking is easy here. You can either park at the mall or two other garages nearby.
  • Great venue! Gotta go check out the Legwarmers (80's cover band) in concert when they play here. You won't be disappointed!!
  • Entrance was seamless(the line moved quickly. Friendly staff, friendly atmosphere, positive vibes, great drinks, clean restroom (VIP). Second story balcony offers a great view of the stage. (Source)

Address: 2729 W Broad St, Richmond, VA 23220, United States (Directions)
Phone: +1 804-353-1888

The Broadberry Reviews:

  • It was my first time at the broadberry and it exceeded my expectations. They have a nice stage for bands to play on and the bar is fairly long ensuring reasonable service when it gets crowded. The only thing that might be a downer is the stage as far away from the bar area so you might have a hard time seeing the act or hearing them from a distance. Drinks were reasonable not terribly overpriced. The only real complaint that I have is parking. As with everything in downtown Richmond good luck.
  • Loved the venue. Full Moon Fever are amazing!!
  • Great venue for shows, and lots of good ones come through so pay attention to the calendar. The layout is sort of alley style, deep but doesn't feel too narrow like some places. Stage is at a good height to see the musicians from wherever you are hanging out. You can pay extra to get a reserved table in a raised area. The bathrooms are at the front by the stage. Bar at the back. Ceiling height is great. Awesome club venue. (Source)

Jefferson Theater Reviews:

  • Well...I loved the architecture of the old theater building. We saw (and heard) two musical groups on Friday night Nov. first. The staff was very professional and friendly. They were security folks wearing "staff" emblazoned shirts which was nice. With all the insanity going on in public places I didn't mind doing the whole airport security thing with the metal detectors. Seriously, there were hundreds of people there and I felt safe and relaxed. During intermissions the walking mall was a wonderful place to get fresh air and chat up strangers about the show. They had a bartender working, and there is a taco restaurant next door. The tacos were made with cubed meat and were tasty enough. The bottled water from the bartender was $2.00...and cold...and...well shucks, it was water.... 🤔
  • Great venue on the mall in beautiful Charlottesville, Virginia. The Jefferson is a good size venue that still feels intimate and allows fans to catch decent-sized acts in a smaller venue. The acoustics in this hall are great. There are bars and bathrooms on both floors of the venue, which makes it very convenient. Located to the side of the theater is a grill that allows you to get tacos and burritos before the show, without having to leave the venue.
  • We went to see Jordan Davis.. Beautiful theater.. And Great Concert. We sat Comfortably upstairs in the Balcony❤ (Source)

Filene Center Reviews:

  • We went to The Beach Boys concert last summer. It was simply fabulous. Apart from the concert the employees and volunteers were always ready to assist with anything you needed. A great place when the weather is cooperating
  • Loved the soulful singing of Jennifer Hudson and appreciated the serving of food by middle-aged adults and senior citizens. So many places deny these adults working opportunities. Jennifer Hudson's gift of singing gives me hope of humanity despite what is going on with the current American government.
  • I've been coming here for years and I just can't get enough. It's the only venue where you can bring your own food and your own drinks sit out under the stars and enjoy the music. Not to mention all of the National & International performers that love it here too. It's crazy, but I've spent hundreds of dollars on a concert ticket at other venues; and then I see the same performer here for a very reasonable price. This is one of the best choices the Metro area has to offer! (Source)

The National Reviews:

  • Great acoustics and atmosphere, love the old opera house feel (... Probably was first used for something like that..?). Decent sized bathrooms, three places inside to get food/drinks (which definitely feels like plenty to spread the crowds out). Pretty open layout, so, easy enough to move around. Definitely would love to come see more shows here!
  • The kind of stage I love, small and amazing at amplifying sound! The whole place is small so you dont feel like you have to squint to see your favorite performers. Sometimes bigger is not always better and this place is a great example of that!
  • Love this place!! A Richmond landmark. Tickets are always a SUPER great price so when they do charge more at the bar.... it all evens out ... in my opinion. SUPER fun time always to be had! (Source)

EagleBank Arena Reviews:

  • Went to see basketball game and I was surprised for the good ambiance and behavior of the crowd. Overall great experienced with kids coming along. It was now crowded, very clean, vendors in great attitude and very easy to come in and out. Husband was bummed because of the no beer policy, but yes that's the rules and we did have a good time.
  • Located on the campus of George Mason University this place is a very good venue for your family. I have experienced many events here from the final performance of the Ringling Bros Circus to an amazing show by Gabriel Iglesias. The seating is well done event up high and there is ample room to move comfortably in the aisles. The staff does a great job with ticket sales and concessions run smoothly. If you have a chance to catch an event here it is well work the trip
  • I work here as a stagehand/operations department, so I had an adventurous day of taking down the show from Catholic Diocese of Arlington @life is VERY good. Didn't see the mass but looked very cool. Their crew were good folks. After that we prepared the arena for the Patriots vs VCU game today. (Source)

Salem Civic Center Reviews:

  • We brought our Indian River Antique Mall employees to final wrestling match. The whole event was well orchestrated safe and we'll maintained grounds.
  • Caught the final leg of Slayer! I liked this small venue but interaction was minimal - we came not much before the headliner and parked surprisingly close to the door. No line at the door or at merch table. All the staff I saw were friendly but we had floor tickets - can't speak to seating! This was the best venue out three stops I saw in a week.
  • Brantley gilbert concert was great! (Source)
