Magdalena Bay, the experimental pop powerhouse duo consisting of Mica Tenenbaum and Matthew Lewin, is setting the music scene ablaze with their latest announcement. The pair has officially unveiled their North American headlining tour, "The Imaginal Mystery Tour," set to launch on September 3rd, 2024, in San Francisco. The tour promises an electrifying lineup of shows across major cities including Vancouver, Seattle, Denver, Chicago, Brooklyn, Atlanta, Nashville, Austin, and more, culminating in a grand finale in Los Angeles on October 2nd.
In conjunction with the tour announcement, Magdalena Bay has also released their mesmerizing new single, "Death & Romance." The track, featuring an oscillating piano line and dizzying drumming, creates a psychedelic pop experience that’s both hypnotic and cosmic. "Death & Romance" marks the duo’s first release since signing with Mom + Pop Music in June 2023, and their first new material following last year's "mini mix vol. 3" EP.
Fans can also look forward to the duo's European tour dates following their North American gigs.
