Fans of Bright Eyes, the indie rock band from Nebraska, will be delighted to learn that the group will start touring on January 16, 2025. Much to the dismay of fans, their US and European tour scheduled in 2024 got canceled after just 3 shows as Conor Oberst, their lead singer and guitarist, unexpectedly developed some vocal problems while performing on stage.
After giving ample time for Conor’s recovery, the band will hit the road on January 16 and make 43 stops across North America before wrapping up on April 26th. They’ll pass through Phoenix, Portland, Atlanta, Toronto, and Washington.
The Bright Eyes tour is to support their 10th studio album Five Dice, All Threes, which was released on September 20. The band released a statement regarding Conor’s problem, saying, “Over the past week, Conor has undergone multiple tests to determine the cause of his recent vocal problems. It’s come to light that he has developed a condition that is exacerbated by excessive singing, requiring both treatment and recuperation. We are confident that with a successful regimen, and continued medical attention, we will be able to return to the road next year.”
