About Cherubs

Austin's Cherubs, formed in 1991, are known for their aggressive noise rock style, influenced by bands like Jesus Lizard and the Melvins. Signed by Trance Syndicate, they released the fuzz-heavy "Heroin Man" in 1994. Despite a mid-'90s split, they reunited in 2014, producing albums like "Immaculada High" under Relapse Records. Their impact on noise rock continues, with notable releases like the 2021 EP "SLO BLO 4 FRNZ & SXY."
