Born in Jamaica, Clinton Fearon joined The Gladiators at 19 as bassist, vocalist and lyricist. A 1970s session musician for Studio One and Lee “Scratch” Perry’s Black Ark, he later built a solo career in Seattle, recording 12 albums.
