Cold War Kids, an American indie rock band from Long Beach, California, formed in 2004. Known for their raw energy, anthemic choruses, and blues-infused sound, they blend indie rock, blues rock, and blue-eyed soul. Popular songs include "First," "Hang Me Up To Dry," and "Love Is Mystical." "First" topped the Billboard Alternative Songs chart. Their discography includes the *New Age Norms* trilogy and the 2023 self-titled album *Cold War Kids*. They were nominated for an MTV VMA and won a Webby Award.
