Known for genre-defying sound and improvisation, the project won Scottish Jazz Awards for Best Band and Best Release. Their album Bad With Names was Mercury Prize-shortlisted. Collaborations include anaiis and Mick Jenkins. Shortall's innovative approach earned JazzFM Awards for Innovation and Best Album, and an AIM Breakthrough Artist award.
