English Teacher is a British indie rock band formed in Leeds and Lancashire in 2020. Known for their blend of indie and post-punk, the quartet gained significant recognition, winning the 2024 Mercury Prize for their debut album, "This Could Be Texas." They previously released the acclaimed EP "Polyawkward" and are currently touring.
