Francisca Valenzuela Méndez is an American and Chilean singer, songwriter, poet, and multi-instrumentalist. Born and raised in San Francisco, California, until the age of 12, she later relocated to Santiago, Chile, where she rose to prominence following her 2007 gold-certified debut album, Muérdete la Lengua. Dubbed the "Princess of Rock" by the Chilean press, she has independently released several critically acclaimed, platinum-selling albums through her own label, Frantastic Records, earning multiple Latin Grammy Award nominations. Valenzuela is also a prominent activist and entrepreneur, recognized for founding Ruidosa Fest, an international feminist platform and festival dedicated to empowering women and non-binary individuals in the creative industries.
