She defined 1960s rock and roll, R&B, and pop with hits "Da Doo Ron Ron" and "Then He Kissed Me," lauded by Rolling Stone and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Brooks also performed on Broadway in "Hair" and "Two Gentlemen of Verona". Her album "All or Nothing" received acclaim, and she has collaborated with artists.
