Liana Flores is a British-Brazilian singer-songwriter and guitarist who combines elements of British folk, classic jazz, and 1960s Brazilian bossa nova. Raised in South Norfolk, England, she began releasing music independently, including the EPs The Water's Fine! (2018) and Recently (2019). She gained widespread global recognition when her melancholic track "rises the moon" went viral on TikTok, eventually earning an RIAA Platinum certification. Signed to Verve Records, she released her critically acclaimed debut studio album, Flower of the soul, in June 2024, which features peaceful melodies, intricate guitar work, and vivid nature imagery.
