He is known for his deep ties to the 80s and 90s hard rock and heavy metal scene, hosting MTV's Headbangers Ball and owning the iconic Hollywood nightclub The Cathouse. Rachtman also co-hosted Loveline and has a background in radio, wrestling, and motorcycle racing. He was recognized as one of the 50 most influential people in music.
