Welsh indie rock band The Tubs, formed in 2018 by ex-Joanna Gruesome members, crafts hook-laden post-punk and British folk-infused jangle pop. Known for Owen Williams' distinctive vocals and bleakly funny lyrics, their sound blends Husker Du aggression with R.E.M. influences. Albums include "Dead Meat" (2023), "Cotton Crown" (2025), and "Hard Life" (2026), earning critical acclaim.
