The Wrecks are an American pop rock band based in Los Angeles, California, formed in Thousand Oaks, California, in late 2015. The band consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Nick Anderson, lead guitarist Nick Schmidt, bassist Aaron Kelley, and drummer Billy Nally. They gained early success after secretly recording their 2016 debut EP, We Are the Wrecks, which featured their breakout single "Favorite Liar." Known for their energetic, independent DIY approach to alternative pop-rock, the group signed with Big Noise to release their debut album, Infinitely Ordinary, in 2020, followed by their sophomore album, Sonder, in 2022.
