White Lion, formed in 1983 by Danish singer Mike Tramp and guitarist Vito Bratta, achieved fame with "Wait" and "When the Children Cry." Known for their glam/pop-metal sound, they toured with AC/DC, Aerosmith, and Ozzy Osbourne. Despite success, pressures led to declining chart performance and a split. Tramp later reformed White Lion in 1999.
