Born in Kent, England, Boy George fused Motown inspiration with androgyny in Culture Club, hitting big with "Do You Really Want to Hurt Me." Solo hits, drug battles, DJ fame, and a Tony-nominated musical, Taboo, mark his varied career. Continues to perform and record, both solo and with the band.

British pop band Squeeze, formed by Chris Difford and Glenn Tilbrook in 1974, gained fame with hits like "Tempted" and "Up the Junction." Known for literate lyrics and classic pop influences, their album 'Singles 45's and Under' went platinum, solidifying their legacy in new wave music.
