Argentine artist Leo Dan, born in Atamisqui, soared in the '60s-'70s with Nueva Ola music. Known for hits like "Te He Prometido," he's released 70+ albums, written 1,500+ songs across various genres, and acted in films. His work, celebrated in live tours and covered globally, continues to influence artists worldwide.

Mexican group Yndio, from Sonora, hit famous with '70s covers like “Love Hurts” & “Unchained Melody.” Known for grupero ballads & lively polkas, they topped charts & toured America extensively. Active since 1972, they still perform successfully today.

Los Pasteles Verdes, iconic Peruvian Pop/Rock band, led by Hugo Acuña. Known for hits, major albums with Infopesa. Members included Aldo Guibovich, flourishing from Chimbote roots.
