Danish indie band Psyched Up Janis, formed in 1989 in Sønderborg, moved to Copenhagen in 1992, and rose to fame with their debut EP. They recorded with producer Craig Leon and earned a Danish Grammy nod. Well-known for energetic performances and a significant following in Scandinavia.
