Joe Lally, bassist and member of The Messthetics, alongside former Fugazi mate Brendan Canty and guitarist Anthony Pirog, collaborates with jazz saxophonist James Brandon Lewis. Known for their dynamic, genre-blending style, they've joined forces for a new album on Impulse! label featuring tracks like "That Thang" and "Asthenia".

Born into the jazz world, James Brandon Lewis triumphed with "The Jesup Wagon" in 2021, praised for blending gospel and folk-blues. Winning multiple Jazz Album of the Year titles, he's lauded by icons like Sonny Rollins for his profound musicality.
