Shoreline Amphitheatre Reviews

I attended Google I/O at Shoreline Amphitheatre. Now the place was paced but you didn't feel like it had people on top of you. You had enough room to maneuver around. It was a well organized event. The space is clean and easy to get around. Have a great time.

Spontaneously came here with my family for the first time and expected nothing. Coming here without any expectations made my experience happier than expected. I have liked google for a long time, and i like it even more. The ambiance is cool. Since we came here the day after Christmas, it wasn't busy. I can't compare to other days like weekend because like I said, this is the first time and definitely not the last. There are no lines going inside. Free entrance. You can freely hold the gadgets displayed inside. Shop their Google souvenirs. We got Google hoodies because it's cool. Their cafeteria is nice. Relaxed. The tables in the cafeteria have plugs for charging your gadgets. Just bring your cable if I only knew I could've brought mine😆 Ohhh, what I enjoyed most is that you can ride the bike within the premises! It's amazing! The bikes are all over the place. It's free! Just grab the bike that's available, and off you go, roam around the center. My family had fun! Like my kids said, Google is cool! P.s. I also observed the workers. I feel like working here is fun and worth it as well. I will highly recommend this place to visit. Although the entrance is free, parking is free, and riding the bike is free. But because this place is cool and awesome, please bring $$$ because you never know if you will buy a lot of "souvenirs" that cost $$$. But otherwise, if you're not in a rush and just want to chill, this is the place to be.

Traffic here can be horrible but the venue and vibe is great. Prices for drinks, like most places, have gotten a bit ridiculous but I guess that’s just the way it is. Chill crowd and nice screens to see the performers and great lighting and effects.

Ahhh yes the famed Shoreline Amphitheater... I think this is one of the premier venues in the Bay area for concerts that won't cost you an arm or a leg. They stopped allowing you to bring your own lawn chair a year ago...or maybe a bit longer. Instead, they make you rent a chair at $15 or $12 if you book it a bit earlier. However, you can bring water and snacks in. They have several rotating food trucks and their own food stands all around the venue for dining options. Beverages of course have your standard 1 million percent entertainment venue rip-off markup... They really ought to do something about the lawn. It's so uneven, full of holes, patches of dirt and dry grass complimented with gopher holes and bumps / mounds. I highly suggest avoiding the lawn if you come wearing heels...or have issues walking. The parking is very crowded, ingress and egress can turn into a nightmare, especially for the sold out shows. If the Gods smile upon you...good for you. Lately they've been trying to charge you a $50 early exit fee. They tend to switch lot capacity like a bi-polar slumlord. The only thing that keeps me coming back to this venue is the selection of artists that perform here... A lot of legends come through...

Overall, good experience. Luke never disappoints. The music was Great, but it was not stated on the ticket that you can not bring your own chairs to the concert or on their website. My poor husband sat on the dirt all night bless his heart. You have to rent their lawn chairs only and they were out by the time we got there. So, my poor husband carried the lawn chair for a 3 mile walk for nothing!
