Great place to see a band. The sound guy really has a handle on things but be advised, beer is very expensive here-$33.75 for a pitcher and $11.50 for a tall.

One of THE BEST STAGES for live music in the GTA. Huge stage in comparison to many other Toronto locations. Generous free parking lot. Accessible with 2, maybe Blue late running public transit bus routes from Kipling TTC, with a stop opposite The Rockpile. Dundas street is also main Mississauga transit route for Mississauga patrons. Often most concerts feature two to three groups and stop around Midnight when the main lights come on. Subway closes later, closer to 1:30 allowing great return access to city. Don't let the name Rockpile worry you.. while rock is often featured, there is a Blues service (jam) at noon every Sunday. Karaoke on Wednesday evenings, and two other live music jams on Monday and Thursday evening. The hosted rock jams also welcome other genres of music; signup sheet is mandatory from the evening host if an artist wishes to perform or jam with other musicians. Everyone gets a turn; very friendly house band and hosts. Food is delicious, typical bar food, limited menu selection.

Went for the first time to see Anvil, had a great time all around. Don't trust a review lower than five stars -like, what, was the dive bar you walked into too dingy looking? Were the drinks too expensive at one of the few places actually booking small/unknown bands? The staff were great, they had a range of seating options and the bathrooms were weirdly big and kept stocked, what more could you ask for? I'll certainly be back!

The place is absolutely legendary at first you my think that the place is not fun but this is a must see if you pass by In Toronto,The Manager Dominique is a wonderful person and There is Mark which is wonderful to talk to. Don't be shy definitely you will enjoy the music and the people inside, it's something out of common but it's something you will remember. Parking is free and handicap person access. Trust me it's something you will talk about it.

$12 for a bottle of domestic(hot beer), $45 for entrance, free parking. Classic basement smell. If you’re any younger than 60, I wouldn’t recommend.
