Time Out Market Reviews

Time Out markets never disappoint. I’ve been to a few including Montreal and New York and Lisboa was no exception. Probably the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. The shoestring fries were super fresh and crunchy but the fish was the true star. I tried a banh mi sandwich which was great along with a chili dog that literally had everything on it. We finished our visit getting dessert to go that was also delicious. I can’t wait to visit again.

Visiting the Time Out Market in Lisbon is an unforgettable experience that every visitor to the city must indulge in. This vibrant marketplace encapsulates the essence of Lisbon, offering a tantalizing array of flavors, aromas, and cultural delights under one roof. From freshly caught seafood to artisanal cheeses and delectable pastries, the Time Out Market showcases the very best of Portuguese cuisine, curated by top chefs and local vendors. With every bite, visitors embark on a culinary journey through the diverse and rich gastronomic landscape of Lisbon. While finding seating may require a bit of patience due to the popularity of the market, the lively atmosphere and delicious food make it well worth the wait. However, it's unfortunate that pets are not welcome, limiting the experience for some visitors. In terms of facilities, attention to cleanliness in the restrooms could be improved to enhance the overall experience. Nevertheless, these minor drawbacks pale in comparison to the exceptional culinary offerings and cultural immersion that the Time Out Market provides. In summary, the Time Out Market is an unmissable destination in Lisbon, offering a sensory feast that captures the essence of the city's vibrant food scene. Despite some minor inconveniences, the market's eclectic charm and culinary delights make it a must-visit for any traveler exploring the streets of Lisbon

I’ve been to other Time Out’s and this was a really good one. Everyone was anxiously waiting for the Soup counter to reopen from break and once it did they were mobbed! Great selection of various cuisines and we were pretty happy to sit down, order, and not be rushed as just relax. The bathrooms were a little tricky to find, they are all the way at the opposite end of the Market (depending on what you side you enter from). It’s at the end closer to the water. Always a fun time to check out, grab some simple eats, and continue on!

This place is quite an icon of Lisbon. Each time we ask for a good hangout place, they always send us to Tome Out Market. They have variety of food selections, from local Portuguese food, Italian food, poke, to wine and desserts. But let’s be honest, this food hall is not cheap 😉 but it gives the quality you pay.

Time Out Market Lisbon is a vibrant feast for the senses, a place that pulses with the energy of a food lover’s paradise. The concept is brilliant, bringing together a diverse mix of culinary styles under one roof, reminiscent of the grand food markets of Barcelona. The ambiance is bustling and full of life, making it a great spot to soak in the local atmosphere. While the overall experience was enjoyable, the flavors of the dishes I tried didn’t quite meet my expectations. They were good, but I anticipated a bit more punch to match the hype of the venue. Nonetheless, Time Out Market remains a must-visit for its dynamic vibe and the sheer variety of food offerings.
