SWX Concerts 2024-2025

What a great, proper 'old school' music venue! Easy to get to (NCP car park just across the road) and plenty of fab places to eat nearby. If you haven't been, check out their upcoming gigs and book yourself a ticket!

Always enjoyed attending live music events at SWX, but the closing of the venue due to a fire meant I hadn't been for a while. This was my first visit since it's reopening (yes, I'm late to the party) and I have to say, it was like it hadn't gone away. The staff at the entrance were friendly and welcoming and a new advertising board in the entrance stairwell is definitely a welcome addition to add something extra to what was a dreary space. The sound for the gig was very good and, unlike other venues in Bristol, did not feel over crowded despite being a sold out show. I guess the only downside to my night out was the cost of drinks, but these seem to increase everywhere on an almost weekly basis. All-in-all, very happy.

Been to LOADS of K-Pop nights here with DJEMKAY, best nights of my life at Uni, amazing club whether we’re in the larger main room or the smaller RnB room, gonna keep going as long as there’s Kpop! Absolutely love this club, and the staff are always super nice!

Great place to watch our favourite band Doreen Doreen, with small elevated sections either side so you can avoid the crush of the main dance floor. As people who don't go out very often, the £7.20 for a pint of draught cider seemed steep, but it might just be us that are out of contact!

Nice venue with good layout for gigs. Kids of area near the front of the stage, plus balconies either side with good views. The area outside where you queue is all under cover (perfect for Bristol weather!). They have a cloakroom too (£2.50).
