O2 Academy Edinburgh Concerts 2024-2025

Saw Alter Bridge and paid for a premium ticket so that I could meet the band in the afternoon sound check. I was 5 feet from the stage and the concert was amazing. The band were impeccable. The venue holds about 1500 to 2000 people. Nice intimate venue. I would highly recommend it for concerts.

Decent venue. Good sound and lighting rig; very hot inside, so best to wear layers or dress light. Clean and not too much of a queue to get in. Okay views in terms of seeing the band. Not in the centre of town so a little tricky to get to. Parking nearby on the streets though.

AWESOME, a huge big thanks to Jodie Brown and her team for holding our hand from booking right through to the day before our party, when she handed over to our Event's Manager Hannah, who, with her fantastic team, made sure our evening went perfectly. Hannah spotted a couple of make shift table signs that I had written out and replaced this with printed versions which looked so much better. The venue is ideal for a Party. We had around 180 guests, plus our live Band, and there was never a huge queue at the bar. Thank you Jodie, Hannah and everyone else involved in our Party planning/evening.

Great acoustics but because its all one level you don't get a great stage view from a lot of the room. Any O2/ Virgin customers get priority entry which isn't greatly advertised but we were asked while queuing and managed to skip the line! Drinks fairly cheap, staff friendly and helpful, and you can usually park fairly local.

Went here to see Enter Shakari. Venue was good, toilets were clean. Several entries into the concert room so with a big crowd didn't feel stuck or crammed in. Loads of staff keeping the crowd right and the queue to get in. The concert was amazing.
