New Theatre Concerts 2024

Saw ELO Again tribute band. First time we've been to this theatre. Very comfortable seats, good bar. Easy to book on line.

Nice enough theatre but the main attraction was the Magic Men Australia show. Relatively easy to find but not local to the area parking is restricted along the road the theatre is on. We found a small car park around the back of the theatre which was a cash only machine but perfect location (near the stage door access) Entry was smooth with a bag check and bar was busy but efficient and drinks prices were what you'd expect. £6 for a small bottle of prosecco. Ladies toilets were busy as it was a mainly female audience but had no issues. The disabled toilet was unable to be flushed but I soon fixed this for everyone else taking the lid off the and fixing the flushing mechanism. Seats were comfy we were in the stalls M21 &22 with a central view Would return.

Circle seats were good. Very old though, could do with renovation, and seats were loose so could hear squeaking throughout the play. Has 'old cinema smell' about it. Cheaper than going to London but I'd choose the Cube at Corby if they had the same performances.

I've enjoyed a few shows now at New Theatre Peterborough. The seats are incredibly comfortable, especially compared to older theaters that haven't had that level of refurbishment. These ones have plenty of leg room and are wide enough you don't find yourself shuffling around mid show. I've never had any issues with the staff, everyone I've dealt with has been really friendly and professional. The theatre has great accessibility. There is a bar and toilets on the ground floor and the upper level which is great when it is busy. The theatre has started to get a lot of touring musicals/plays, which is absolutely fantastic for people who cannot for whatever reason make the journey to London.

Fantastic location and place, had a great evening the entertainment was amazing. Friendly smiley staff as well which is very nice Only negative is that they don't seem to do pre-order half time drinks anymore. So in the end we didn't bother as the queue was far to big. There was another bar in the theatre very close by but it was closed and needed to be open as the theatre was pretty much nearly full. Would have been 5 stars but for this. Thoroughly recommended, get yourself there. We are off to see The Carpenters shortly
