The Halls Wolverhampton Concerts

Massive thanks to Charlie and Sam at the venue tonight (03/05/24) for the help on the guest list tickets. We felt stressed inside but you made the situation calm and collected. Fab gig and a great venue to visit it felt quite intimate to the artist.

Great venue for live music, we saw Barenaked Ladies, who were fantastic. However, the bar refused cash and would only accept card payments, which was disappointing. I got a lot of support from many other customers when I complained, one lady even offered to pay for the round. The staff had no idea where the nearest cash point was. Fortunately, we were with friends who had cards on them, so we managed to sort it out.

Went to the Halls in Wolverhampton to see the Hives. First time going to this venue since it reopened. The venue was really good and the sound was amazing. There is parking over the road at the civic Hall, and public transport is really good too, with both rail, tram and bus connections. The crowd control was fantastic with seating and standing split into different lines from the outset. Didn't take long to get inside either and there were plenty of staff to direct you. There were a good selection of drinks available at the bar, although a bit expensive. Would recommend this venue to see a band.

This is a great fairly intimate venue. We had seats on the higher balcony level in the middle of the row. The pictures here show our view and height from where we were sat. The only gripes I have are that I didn't get chance or see the area where the merchandise was sold. We were directed straight to our seats, and only noticed the bar and toilets as we passed them. Also my main complaint was that we're told to sit down by a rude security person. The other side of the venue were standing and left alone. This spoiled the night a little. We often go to bigger venues with no railings like here and stand for the whole gig. I understand H&S but I think this was a bit extreme. Entrance was quick also the exit. Very cheap car parking was a 10 mins walk.

Attended The Halls to see Professor Brian Cox, my first visit in some time and it's had a lot ot money invested in it. Looks good now and is well designed with up to date facilities. Recommend a visit.
