The Pool at Harrah's Atlantic City - Complex Concerts 2024

I will never patronize the pool again. The security guard was extremely nasty with us. We understood we couldn't bring in drinks, so we brought them back into the car. My friend and I both had beach bags and my husband brought his backpack. He yelled at us that we had too much stuff and to get rid of 2 of the bags. I refused to comply with that. We are each allowed to have our own bag. They went through every single item. EVERY SINGLE ITEM. Literally opened my book, like they were going to find someone in a book. My friend left the pool to smoke and brought his drink (bought at the pool) with him. Upon returning they made him throw it out, even though he bought it at the pool. We understand company policies, but there are ways to interact with people without being a total jerk.

Amazing place during the cold weather. Good environment. Good bar.

I haven’t been here in years, but I always enjoyed my stay. Unfortunately this time was a huge disappointment. I was surprised we had to pay for the pool, but I was even more surprised at the outfits the servers were wearing. I honestly don’t think it’s necessary to show your entire a$$. The servers were excellent, but the attire was uncalled for. As far as the rest of resort, I’m very disappointed with the changes, the renovations and most of all the management and front end hotel staff. The rooms are stark and uncomfortable with no seating areas whatsoever. There is no closet space to hang your clothes and the front end staff are totally condescending and unhelpful.

I had called ahead and asked if I could bring my coffee into the pool at 9am before the bar opens and they front desk said yes.. after paying 37$ for 2 drinks and a cookie they would not let me in with my coffee. The pool staff security was extremely rude (especially Michael) and will ignore you when asking questions. This became an 80$ morning to sit outside and drink my coffee very quickly.

Pool was nice… yet even if you are staying with the hotel you need to pay a fee of $10 pp. Never seen this at a hotel before, usually the only people who pay for the pool are those not staying within the hotel. The staff was ok, they were not so attentive. Especially the lifeguards. They were on their phone the whole time. First and last time visiting this hotel. On the other hand the hotel rooms were decent, still noticed some smudges on the mirrors within the room but made it work. On the elevator there was no cleaning done to them because the same water bottle was their from the moment I got there, to the moment I left.
