Del Mar Racetrack & Fairgrounds - Complex Concerts 2024-2025

Great day for the races. Had a great time and enjoyed the atmosphere. There was an outdoor market and performers on a stage. The races were exciting and a great way to spend the afternoon.

My recent visit to the Del Mar Racetrack was nothing short of delightful. The track itself, along with the surrounding grounds, exudes an aura of elegance and charm that's hard to find elsewhere. The lush greenery and well-maintained facilities make it a visual treat for visitors. A heads-up for first-timers: the parking can be a bit of a trek from the main entrance. However, the racetrack has thoughtfully provided a free shuttle service, which I found to be very convenient. It's a small detail, but it significantly enhances the overall experience, especially if you're not keen on long walks. While I did find the prices on the higher side, the fun and excitement of the races, coupled with the vibrant atmosphere, made it well worth the spend. It's a great place to enjoy with friends or family, and there's a palpable sense of thrill in the air. A tip for those planning a visit: consider arriving a bit early to secure a good viewing spot and familiarize yourself with the grounds. All in all, the Del Mar Racetrack offers a unique blend of sport, entertainment, and beauty. It's a must-visit for anyone looking to experience the best of horse racing in a picturesque setting.

TinyFest had really Expensive fried foods!!! $7 for a small fry? $8 corn dogs??? Everything else was really cool..... It would've been nice to see someone selling plots of land for tiny homes.

It was our first time at the races and what a great experience we had! Very fun to learn about the jockeys and horses and then watch the races. It is very beginner friendly as they have lots of pamphlets and small booklets they hand out. All the staff are super nice and helpful as well. Great to see so many people dressed up and looking fancy. A fun and lively environment.

Horse show Seaside is always a great experience. Veronica Savery is an awesome trainer and is working to grow her students talents and experience.
