Saroyan Theatre Concerts 2025

Very nice place for music concerts. The acoustics are great. The theater has a nice classic feel and look. Every seat is a good view. The only negative is the seats are very close to one another, not much space. Excellent venue though.

I went to the Drum Tao concert last night. The drum concert was great! However, “Saroyan Theater’s parking fee” was crazy expensive. It was $25 for 2 hours of concert. They only take credit cards. I wonder what an impact is on people who are elderly, disabled, and fixed-income people. They used to have a senior discount for parking fees but they didn’t have it anymore.

We saw the musical Alladin last night and enjoyed watching it. The theatre is in desperate need of renovation to bring it up to the standards of other theaters. The seats are old, the floor is concrete, and the sound system is terrible. We could not understand 2/3 rds of the singing and speech, and we left disappointed because of that, even though the production was great. A movie theatre has better seating and a sound system. The theatre was mostly filled, so we weren't lacking attendance. Upgrade this theatre it needs it.

Nice venue ... we had seats in the second to last row in the orchestra section and still had a good view. As a larger person, the seats are a bit cramped. We were both thankful to have seats empty next to us on both sides (gave me a place to put my cane). The biggest negative is the lack of women's restrooms (4 stalls in the one we were directed to in the building next door). If it weren't for the gentleman blocking the men's room for so women could also use that room, many would have missed more of the play, as intermission was only 15 minutes. Many thanks to all the men who patiently waited at The Thorn performance on 2/25/24, and the woman who let me in front of her as she could see I was having difficulty standing so long.

Season ticket holders for Broadway in Fresno. Great shows. As usual with most venues, more potties in the ladies would be wonderful!!
