Starlight Reviews

Not really a bad seat and the sound system is great! Parking is easy, but depending where you park there could be a little bit of a walk to the gates. There is a steep ramp/incline after getting through security, some may have to go slow up the hill. The folding plastic seats are comfortable, roomy (seat and leg room both). The seats are also well marked by section, row, and number. There are LOTS of helpful staff members everywhere to guide you to seats or tell you where to find food, drinks, restrooms, merchandise, etc. Concessions are available to either side of the stage or at the very back, where there is also a plaza with tables to sit and eat. Starlight is cashless, accepting cards or digital payments, and each transaction asks for a tip (you can edit the percentage). They allow one sealed water to be brought in per person, up to 32 ounces. The box office phone staff are refreshingly polite and helpful. I've been to Starlight many times over decades and always enjoyed attending both plays and concert here.

This is the first time we've ever attended this venue, and it was a 5-Star all around! The seating was great, plenty of room and the view was wonderful! I'd say there's "not a bad seat in the house!" The people were great along with the staff! The facility was impressive and easy to navigate in and out of! When the crowd stands up. the airflow circulation is cut off so if it's a humid or warm day, be prepared! Parking was easy with plenty of staff navigating the route for you to follow! The building is "fun!" The acoustics are loud and easily heard! They resonate throughout the entire complex quite easily! And they sound "really good!" You're watching the concert and just start looking around at how beautiful and captivating the stage and building really is! The food is good, and drinks flow from several different directions all around you! It's worth visiting and watching an event! It's not the safest part of Kansas City, so find an area "away" from the venue and "inquire" prior to making reservations during your planning stages! Be smart! Enjoy, it was one of the best!

A Great place to watch a live performance in Kansas City. I like the tall air movers/fans they have added. Weather was perfect on the day of my visit. Had a great time watching Candlebox and 3 Doors Down.

Saw Louis Tomlinson June 2023, my first ever concert, and it was absolutely amazing. For people who plan on going here for a concert that you WON'T be seated for, prepare to be on a constant 45° incline. (Unless of course you have seats in Orchestra) You will leave with sore legs, but with pure joy.

For being an outdoor venue the sound quality is really good! Been a few times definitely would go again! There really ain't a bad seat no matter where you sit. Prices for food and drinks are actually reasonable compared to most venues!
