Academy Center of the Arts Concerts

First time here. We attended the fever candlelight concert. (Not real candles to my friends disappointment). The musicians were phenomenal - the first chair was jaw dropping on how she played. The facility was so pretty. The workers were delightful and there was a full drink and eat menu. (Although this wasn’t a popcorn kinda music) There is parking across the street. I will look forward to coming back.

My first time to a candlelight concert. The theatre was beautiful and the candles were enchanting! I could not have been more pleased! The musicians were incredible and so talented! I will be booking my next concert asap! ❤️

For my first experience here it was AMAZING the performance was spectacular “Step Afrika” if you ever get a chance to see them DO IT! They engaged the audience the entire time, they had you leaving feeling like you were a part of the experience! The theater is gorgeous my first time being there and very impressed for a smaller city theatre as I’m from NY I’ve seen many this was very welcoming it was the perfect temperature the seats are comfortable and I’m a larger girl so that’s very nice! Popcorn was perfectly buttery and perfectly salted nice and freshly popped. They serve alcohol! And they don’t water the drinks down typical pricing $8-$12/$15 very clean building everyone who worked there was super nice. Please go see a show you will enjoy yourself definitely a part of the Lynchburg experience!

Lynchburg's Academy Center of the Arts is a renovated theater that dates from 1905. The renovation was absolutely superb. I have been to several concerts in this theater and sat in a different location each time. It is an intimate experience, and I have yet to find a bad seat. The sound system is balanced and the theater itself provides excellent acoustics. Photo is of Postmodern Jukebox concert.

This was our girst time here. we saw Soul Town to Motown and they where Fabulous. Prices for Drinks were actually normal. We just wished they had something hot to Drink like Coffee or even hot chocolate. The theater was very nice.
