State Theatre New Jersey Concerts 2024-2025

Went to go see Adam Ant with English Beat at the State Theater and while staff was great and seating was good, the acoustics and sound was not all that great. I was in the orchestra and thought the volume was low and sound or mix not great and believe that it may be related to the speakers in use which may be good for theater, plays and soft music, but not for rock or dance rock. Drinks were fairly pricey considering a double rum and coke cost about $30 and a can of long island iced tea spirits beverage about $15! Between sound quality and concession prices I was slightly disappointed.

Visited State theater for the 1st time, it was a great experience. Had booked tickets online, security process was straight forward. You can get a booster seat at concierge located on the right once you enter the theater. Restrooms were clean. Ours was a balcony seat, sound system was good. Plenty of restaurants near by. Only hassle was the parking, not many spots near by and it was a cold windy day.

Love this theater the seating is a little cramped so make sure to travel light. There is parking garages 3 I belive within a block or 2. The bathrooms are unisex and the food lines are very long so show up early or grab something before the intermission when everyone rushes in.

A very beautiful theater decorated in Art Deco style and superbly restored. Muted tones of the walls, soft lighting, comfortable soft chairs. I was at a symphony concert. The acoustics of the hall are excellent for classical music.

Had front row seats for the Ancient Aliens Live show last Friday and it was great! Theater was clean. Margaritas were refreshing! A cool time for those of you who like this type of thing!
