Went to a show last night and it was amazing! Staff was polite and efficient. Bartender was cute! The intimacy of the theater is very nice since I don't like bigger crowded places. Love love love. The ONLY thing is that if you go into the women's restroom BEWARE OF THE HEAVY DOORS. The stalls have doors made of metal and if you are not careful they will slam and it was really loud LOL

One of the coolest, small, intimate music venues I’ve ever been in. I love the brick walls. And speakeasy feel upstairs and walk down stairs to the venue on the floor. Super awesome how it is a tier level. Hardly any room in the upper tiers besides Standing on the balcony. The floor seemed like it could get very packed. I went to the hip abduction in May 2024 and had a blast. I eventually weaseled my way to the front row and met lots of cool people. Yuenling pounder was seven dollars Craft beer I had was eight dollars… so not bad. I’m no audio professional but I do have some minor experience and also work as a stage hand. They have two tall speakers that are suspended above the stage, so I’m sure it sounds great on the balconies, but I could barely make out the vocals on the floor. They need to have a low lying speaker behind the band stage level. Other people around me agreed that they couldn’t really hear his vocals at all either. which was a bummer because I was trying to intently listen to the lyrics but I couldn’t make out hardly anything being sang. Overall had a blast. They could’ve definitely use more bartenders. There was only I believe one upstairs and one downstairs. And when I went upstairs to get a drink, thinking I would save time, I guess the girl was outside, smoking a cigarette for a while, so me and a few others were waiting, super thankful that they have multiple water jugs around. I meant to take a picture, but that diet water jug was fire. Hahaaha y’all rock. Thx much!

Thunderbird Cafe is an awesome venue for shows. Been visiting for the last 2 years for electronic shows. Great atmosphere and vibe there. Things to consider: they have a tough security which includes no flow toys, and drinks are pretty expensive. Other than that come hydrated, and with ear plugs, and you'll have a dope time!

Took my young adult and his friends to see Aidan Bissett. The concert was phenomenal. They checked ID( everyone underage got big black Xs on their hands, I being of age got a pink wristband) at the door and wanded everyone that came in. Being the only drinking age adult in our group I got to sit on the balcony and have a beverage (not a bunch of seating, but figure most people wanted to be down by the performers). The guys stood downstairs and were only a couple rows from the stage. There was no smoking inside. Parking was on street or if you could find a parking lot someplace. Alcohol, pizza, and appetizers were on the menu (probably pop too). Had fun, felt safe, would go back again.

Great place to see a show. Parking is challenging but one can find spots free in the surrounding neighborhood. Domestics were $6, NA beers were $5. Went on a tuesday. Metal detection at the door for shows saw them hold peoples pocket knives and such at the door for retrieval after the show.
