North Shore Center for the Performing Arts in Skokie Concerts 2025

This theater has a unique style that must be designed for the perfect acoustic experience🤓. We were in the balcony and we could hear the artist press the foot pedal on the piano; even with great mics the sound quality in other theater balconies can be questionable 😏. The staff was friendly, valet is affordable, there’s FREE parking and a parking garage. I will definitely keep an eye out for shows at this theater. 🤗

Came to see Talib Kweli live on 3/16 and man did I have a great time. Got affordable tickets at the front (standing only section) which allowed me to be up and close to one of my favorite artists. Out of all the concert venues I’ve ever been to, this one was a breeze to get in and get out. Free parking and just an overall beautiful theater. Hoping for more hip-hop / jazz shows in the future because I would love to come back :)

Went there with my wife and sister in law to see Robert Glasper the facilities was were intimate. However Mr. Glasper's performance was a total disappointment, at times he appeared to be drunk and his constant disrespect for the town of Skokie was not amusing. A lot of his fans were not happy with his lackluster performance. Mr. Glasper do better.

The play was excellent (Putnam County Spelling Bee), except for the unnecessary blasphemous reference to a 'gay Jesus'. The theater was nice, yet the seats were extremely tight with no legroom. We saw a lot of torn carpeting on the stairs as well that should be replaced. I think the theater needs a little bit of attention and then it will be back to its glory. Not sure if we will return to this theater or not because of the tight, uncomfortable seating.

This was my first time at this venue. Free parking, comfortable seats, great sound system and great view from anywhere. Will definitely be back.
