McMenamins Edgefield Concerts Concerts 2024

Unique and charming venue for music. Sauntering under trees with string lights, wonderful acoustics, mountain ranges in the background. One of my favorite things is when the sun begins to go down, and the patterned lights from the show plays on the very large trees to the left and right of the stage and the audience. There are so many things to do before the show like walking around the expansive Edgefield property in the gardens, check out the glass blowing studio, visit the multiple restaurants there. There’s a soaking pool and a golf course.

Terrific venue for summer concerts! Came here a couple weeks ago for Young the Giant. Parking is free but a little packed, I would recommend giving yourself an extra 20-30 minutes ahead of time to get in. A little bit of a walk to the gate and wait to get in. Highly recommend bringing a beach chair and water bottles, they were not super strict on these items. Great views around the lawn, plenty of food options and a casual environment.

Comic Tripster Party. Worth finishing the mcmenamins passport. It was a fun 3 years going around all the different cities and finding all the hidden rooms. When your passport is full, you get invited to an awesome party. Free drink, free food and free music. Everyone there's so friendly and nice. Best party I've been to in years!n

We had a fabulous time at the Milky Chance concert last night. It was a sold out show. There were 20+ minute lines for anything you wanted other than water. It was hot, sunny, and little shade. Us fair skinned babies found it difficult to hang out with the cool kids near the stage because of the sun. I know that isn't the venue's fault. The 4 stars is primarily because it took forever to get anything... We ended up eating after Milky Chance and didn't watch Young the Giant. Even if they were good, their quick biography was so pretentious that I couldn't watch them without thinking about it and rolling my eyes.

This venue is great! Only downside was parking in the back and they didn't open the second entrance until roughly 45 min after they opened the front one to exit. Love everything else about the experience. Parking management can be easily fixed and isn't worth taking a star off. Keep up the great work!
