National Theatre - DC Reviews

Seats are comfortable but very close. The theater is older. The concessions are minimal- eat before! Get a good seat or your view maybe clocked by those in front of yourself

My daughter enjoyed Annie! The theatre was smaller than expected and the seats are really close together and small. However with it being so small you can still see the stage well from all the seats. I actually think I prefer the balconies, not for price but the view. I believe ot waa only one bathroom all the way on 4th floor because during intermission so many people were out of breath from walking up the stairs looking for the bathroom. It was easy to find parking nearby. The staff was really nice. With the shows being so late they should upgrade their snacks to include some warm food not just chips n drinks.

Peter Pan at The National Theatre was great! We had seats on the Mezzanine Level and had a great view. The service staff was great (highly recommend ordering drinks for intermission before the show). Enjoy the show!

Great theater in the heart of DC. Very steep, narrow seating as you'd expect in an older theater. Save yourself a headache and pre purchase parking if you're driving. There's only one parking garage nearby--and nearly no restaurants. They sell snacks and drinks inside. They're pricey as expected but tastywirh decent variety. The lines were well managed, staff was efficient and friendly.

This is an old theater, the seats are really close together & at 5'5" I didn't have room to cross my legs. It's a beautiful place, but tiny. We had pretty good seats, but there was a portion of the performance we couldn't see. I saw The Book of Morman at the Kennedy Center a few years ago, it was a much better performance.
