The Foundry Concerts 2024-2025

Excellent venue. The staff are all great. We loved watching the show from the VIP balcony. The acoustics sound perfect. Even the playlist at the bar was spot-on. We had good cocktails from The Showroom off the VIP balcony but did not get to try a brew from Basic City. Next time we will. We will definitely be back.

Pizza was wonderful. All three beer selections I tried were tasteful. Not a lot of seating in the performance area, so be prepared to stand to watch the band. Overall, a good experience I am apt to repeat in the near future.

Very interesting place. Brewery, restaurant and music venue. The Doors tribute band was very good, the food was ok but overall worth a visit if a show catches your eye.

The good: The space is huge and beautiful, and obviously someone spent a lot of money on the setup. There are a couple of nice seating areas including a raised vip section. The beer is great, and very reasonably priced. The bad: The space is a huge box, so the sound is ok to bad in most of the room. Also, because the space is so big, they have filled it with what seem to be conversation nooks. They also have a brightly lit area right next to the stage where someone was painting and chatting. The band even asked them to turn the light off at one point. It is a great place to hang out with background music, not really a good place to watch a band you want to focus on.

Nice venue! My only suggestions would be to elevate & protect the sound tech & move the bar to the back! The lines impede the thoroughfare to the audience area. Make this place about the music more than the beer. No doubt it will still promote the brand and just as many people at the concerts will buy it! Maybe sales will be even better if customers are not forced to awkwardly stand in the middle of the hall to wait in line? Other than this, its great to have a concert venue in Waynesboro & the staff were super helpful and friendly. Security was respectful and thorough. Remnants of the industrial use of the building make interesting decor.
