U.K. reggae producer Adrian Sherwood founded On-U Sound in 1979, pioneering a dub-rock-dance fusion that bridged post-punk and reggae. Known for the Slits’ “Man Next Door” and the Fall’s Slates EP, he later released Never Trust a Hippy (2003).
