Ana Tijoux is a French-Chilean artist born to Chilean exiles. Known for confronting social injustice, she broke into the Latin American hip-hop scene with Makiza in the '90s. Tijoux's solo career soared with hits like "Eres Para Mí" featuring Julieta Venegas. Her albums Kaos, 1977, La Bala, and Vengo were critically acclaimed, earning Grammy nods and a Latin Grammy win. She's collaborated with Jorge Drexler, Molotov, and others. Ana's work addresses political themes; her social activism in music earned her a Harry Belafonte Fellowship in 2023.
