Assemblage 23 is Seattle-based Tom Shear’s EBM/electro-industrial project. After early synth-pop work, he self-released Wires (1992) and debuted with Contempt (1999). The single Binary from Meta (2007) hit the Billboard U.S. singles Top 25.
