Astrid Smeplass, known professionally as Astrid S, is a Norwegian singer and songwriter who rose to prominence after placing fifth in the Norwegian version of Pop Idol in 2013. She gained widespread recognition with her debut single "Shattered" and her 2015 multi-platinum hit "2AM." Known for her electro-pop sound, her notable releases include her self-titled 2016 debut EP featuring the global hit "Hurts So Good" and her 2020 debut studio album Leave It Beautiful.
