Atrophy, the thrash metal force from Tucson, Arizona, formed in 1986. Known for their aggressive sound and politically charged lyrics, they delivered impactful albums like "Socialized Hate" (1988) and "Violent by Nature" (1990) on Roadrunner Records. After a reformation led by vocalist Brian Zimmerman, the band released "Asylum" in 2024, continuing their legacy of potent thrash.
