Austra is a Canadian electronic music project from Toronto, fronted by Katie Stelmanis. Known for her ethereal, operatic vocals, Austra's sound blends electronica, synth-pop, new wave, and dark wave. Albums include Feel It Break, Olympia, Hirudin, and Chin Up Buttercup. Feel It Break was shortlisted for the Polaris Music Prize. Katie Stelmanis has also received a Canadian Screen Award.
