British guitarist, songwriter, and producer Bernard Butler co-founded Suede in 1989, contributing to their Mercury Prize-winning debut. He later formed McAlmont and Butler, released solo albums, and produced Duffy's hit album Rockferry, earning a Grammy and Brit Award.
