BIIRD is an 11-piece all-female Irish traditional music supergroup, founded in 2024 by seven-time All-Ireland champion Lisa Canny. Hailing from Ireland, they are renowned for revitalizing trad music with a contemporary image and energetic performances. They have graced major stages, including Trafalgar Square and the All Together Now festival, and supported Ed Sheeran. BIIRD collaborates with Irish designers and plans an album featuring Sharon Shannon and Kate Nash.
