Bill Evans, born in Clarendon Hills, Illinois, is an American jazz saxophonist and producer. Renowned for his fusion of jazz, funk, and bluegrass, he plays tenor and soprano saxophones. Evans gained prominence with Miles Davis in the 1980s and has collaborated with Herbie Hancock, Mick Jagger, and John McLaughlin.
