Black Marble is the project of singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Chris Stewart, drawing on coldwave and early-’80s synth pop. Debuted with 2012’s The Weight Against the Door EP and A Different Arrangement; later releases include It’s Immaterial (2016), Bigger Than Life (2019), and Fast Idol (2021).
