Blanket is an alternative rock and post-rock quartet from Blackpool, Lancashire, UK, formed in 2016. Comprising guitarists/vocalists Bobby Pook and Simon Morgan, bassist Matthew Sheldon, and drummer Steven Pellatt, the band creates an audio-visual soundscape that blends ambient rock, shoegaze, and grunge elements, drawing inspiration from acts like Sigur Rós and Caspian. Signed to Music for Nations, their discography includes the 2017 debut EP Our Brief Encounters and studio albums such as How to Let Go (2018), Modern Escapism (2021), and Ceremonia (2024).
